On May 14, 2026, the Medalla Milagrosa Home conducted a training session for its staff on the subject of "Children's Rights," aiming to strengthen the team's knowledge, competencies, and commitment regarding the comprehensive protection of the girls and adolescents in their care.
The session covered fundamental topics such as the rights-based approach, the conceptual and legal framework regarding childhood and adolescence, the importance of the best interests of the child, positive discipline, respectful treatment, the detection of rights violations, and ethical protocols within protective care facilities.
Additionally, participatory and reflective activities enabled staff members to analyze everyday situations from a humanitarian perspective that prioritizes the safeguarding of rights.
